Highlights include children\u2019s activities, concerts, plays, Nativity scenes, <em>quinto<\/em> bingo and the traditional Three Kings Parade. The Councillor\u2019s Office for Culture is coordinating the events, organised by City Council and local associations that are once again getting into the spirit of the season. Don\u2019t miss the carol concerts, storytelling sessions, plays (including the Catalan Christmas classic <em>Els Pastorets<\/em>) and children\u2019s workshops.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Councillor\u2019s Office for Children and Youth, the Councillor\u2019s Office for Traditions and Celebrations, and the Three Kings Committee are also hosting activities, including \u201cFem cagar el <em>Ti\u00f3<\/em>\u201d, a festive morning featuring workshops, face-painting and giant versions of traditional games; an office where you can leave your letter to the Three Kings with royal postwoman Aisha; and of course, the eagerly awaited Three Kings Parade. There will also be background music in the town centre and Poble Sec shopping districts to add more festive cheer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A new activity this year, presented by the Corpus Christi Committee and City Council, is the Joc de les Festes de Sitges, a trivia board game about three beloved Sitges traditions: Carnival, Corpus Christi and the<em> festa major<\/em>, or main annual festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another of the spots where part of the Christmas activities will be concentrated is the Port of Sitges, where this year visitors will be able to enjoy, among other initiatives, the Winter Market Sitges Christmas fair, which is celebrating its tenth edition in a new location.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Check out the full Christmas programme at <a class=\"link-blau\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sitges.cat\/nadal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.sitges.cat\/nadal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas decorations and atmosphere<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Christmas spirit will come to life in the heart of Sitges with the 10-foot Christmas tree, this year featuring a special display of over 16,000 LED lights.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will also be 300 energy-efficient figures lighting up streets and avenues throughout the town, including Carrer Parellades, Carrer Jes\u00fas, Passeig de Vilafranca and Cam\u00ed de la Fita, not to mention to the traditional lights in Cap de la Vila, on the City Hall fa\u00e7ade, on the tree in the roundabout at Pla\u00e7a de Catalunya and Cam\u00ed de la Fita, and amidst the gift-shaped decorations in the roundabout at Avinguda Cam\u00ed de Capellans and Passeig de Vilafranca. These decorations will be complemented by festive messages, images and ornaments at the entrances to the main shopping district, and background music throughout the town\u2019s streets.
