\nIt sounds good, doesn\u2019t it? In fact, Sitges boasts a rich gastronomy closely linked to seafood and traditional sailors\u2019 rice dishes. Among them, one of the highlights is the famous arr\u00f2s a la sitgetana, a recipe recovered by Emerenci\u00e0 Roig i Ravent\u00f3s in his book \u201cEl Sitges dels nostres avis\u201d (\u201cThe Sitges of our Grandparents\u201d), published in 1934 and based on oral testimonies portraying life in Sitges from the 19th century onwards.
