Terra Music &amp; Events, which organises the festival, has announced the first confirmed names in the lineup for its ninth edition, which will run until 12 August in the Jardins de Terramar gardens.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest names in contemporary music, <strong>Sergio Dalma<\/strong>, is slotted in for 1 August, when he\u2019ll be presenting his \u201cRitorno a Via Dalma\u201d album live as part of a tour of major venues revisiting his Italian hits. On 2 August, it\u2019ll be time for the live premiere of <strong>Joan Daus<\/strong>\u00e0\u2019s fifth album, <em>Immortals<\/em> (to be released this coming 10 April), in a tour with just ten appearances. And on 5 August, <strong>Earth, Wind &amp; Fire<\/strong> <strong>Experience by Al McKay<\/strong> will be performing their only concert in Catalonia this summer. The experience was created by the band\u2019s legendary guitarist and \u201cgroove director\u201d, co-author of classic such as \u201cSeptember\u201d and producer of \u201cBoogie Wonderland\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The music will continue on 8 August in a double bill reaffirming the festival\u2019s commitment to Catalan talent. The featured guests will be <strong>Els Amics de les Arts<\/strong>, are celebrating their 20<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary with a greatest hits tour, and Ginest\u00e0, the brother\/sister duo made up of J\u00falia and Pau Serrasolsas, who broke onto the Catalan-language music scene in 2024 and are releasing a new album this spring. On 9 August, it\u2019ll be time for \u201cThis Is Michael\u201d, an international tribute show looking back at the King of Pop\u2019s greatest hits and iconic stage performances in an especially symbolic year for Michael Jackson\u2019s legacy due to the upcoming world premiere of the biopic <em>Michael<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another memorable night in this year\u2019s edition of Terramar CaixaBank will come on 11 August with <strong>Sopa de Cabra<\/strong>, one of the most groundbreaking and influential Catalan rock bands, who will be celebrating their 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary with a repertoire that\u2019s become part of our collective memory. The festival will come to a close on 12 August with God Save The Queen, in an event celebrating another 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary: the anniversary of Queen\u2019s concert at Knebworth Park in London, which was the legendary Freddy Mercury\u2019s last performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The festival and Sitges City Council are offering a 25% discount on tickets for Sitges Carnet Blau+ holders to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy concerts and culture.
