Festa Major de Sant Bartomeu, Sitges’ main annual festival

The Festa Major is Sitges’ big celebration. And when we say big, we mean veeeery big!

During August 23rd and 24th, religious and folkloric events come together: music, dances, human towers, fireworks…

These are 36 intense hours that begin with the arrival of the grallers at midday on the 23rd, followed by countless activities: giants, devils, traditional dances and fire, fill the town’s streets with a spirit of festivity and community, ending the day with the traditional and spectacular fireworks display at 11 pm on La Fragata beach.
