We will learn by illustrating the main characteristics of Mediterranean marine plants. We will connect learning and drawing through the technique of scientific illustration.
Are you interested in environmentally important marine ecosystems such as seagrass meadows? Do you know scientific illustration as an artistic method that helps us observe and interpret nature?
In this full-day workshop, Anèl·lides serveis ambientals marins will introduce us to the different species of marine plants found in the Mediterranean, such as posidonia (Posidonia oceanica) and seagrass (Cymodocea nodosa). Thanks to the expertise of illustrator Xell Campos, we will also learn watercolor techniques to explore the potential of scientific illustration for representing the different species and natural habitats of Mediterranean seagrass meadows.
