The Museus de Sitges (Museums of Sitges) open their doors even wider during the summer. And they do so to host all kinds of cultural experiences that differ from those offered during the rest of the year. It is summer, and in Sitges everything comes alive. Culture does too, as demonstrated every year by the Sitgestiu programme, which brings music, cinema and art to all kinds of venues and spaces.

Sitgestiu: A festival for the senses

Sitgestiu is a festival that appeals to the senses. To all of them. Because culture is sensory, and this festival embraces every artistic discipline and all forms of cultural expression. A few examples? Opera performances in the Racó de la Calma, wine-and-music pairings, music-and-aroma experiences and, of course, guided tours. And all of these activities take place in unique and emblematic spaces around the town, such as the Cau Ferrat Museum, Palau de Maricel or the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Vinyet, to name just a few.
