Vent de Fora is an exhibition that reflects on the fleeting nature of the life cycle, taking inspiration from a term used by fishermen in El Perellonet, in Valencia. The core idea is that we come from the earth and we go to the sea: a body born in the sand like a seed becomes dust and, finally, a molecule in the sea.
Susana Botana, winner of the Pere Jou Sculpture Competition 2024, presents an organic creative process that translates into sculptures made from stone, wood, natural fibres or clay, the reflection of how her hands shape profound, evocative ideas.
