An iconic image with ‘la Punta’ in the background
The Sitges Vela Clàssica (Sitges Classic Sailing) brings together twenty historical vessels and traditional sailing boats off the Sitges coast. And for three days they offer a visual spectacle for those on land, adding anchored boats to the municipality’s unique skyline, with sails silhouetted next to the Parròquia de Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla (Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla Parish Church), better known as La Punta. It is also a good idea to head to the Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç to see the boats moored at the beginning and end of those days.
