Nightlife for the LGBTQ+ community in Sitges, one of the most comprehensive and lively in the Mediterranean, has the advantage of being concentrated within one stretch of the town centre. This is the axis formed by Carrer del 2 de Maig, known as Carrer del Pecat (Sin Street); Plaça Indústria, which opens up along the middle stretch of this street and is the place to see and be seen—in fact, it is nicknamed ’Judgement Square’—and Carrer de Joan Tarrida, pedestrianised and taken over by the terraces of the bars lining the stretch between the square and Carrer de Bonaire. This street is known as ‘Bear Alley’, though it welcomes a mix of people, all ideal for meeting someone new.
On this same street is the headquarters of Colors Link, an organisation that stirs up, connects, defends, and promotes LGBTQ+ diversity, rights, health, and culture in Sitges.
And to keep the night going, the music and atmosphere usually move to Carrer de Bonaire, where various venues let you round off the evening dancing.

Bar Comodín, a European benchmark
If there is one bar in Sitges with history and heritage tied to the LGBTQ+ movement, it is Bar Comodín. Opened in 1955, it is considered one of the oldest gay bars in all of Europe. It currently offers live drag and drag queen shows. In summer it is open every day, and in winter, from Thursday to Sunday.
