Visits, demonstration and show cooking
This experience, which lasts about 4 hours and is held in Catalan, Spanish and English, is generally offered for groups of at least 20 people. Participants enjoy various activities, as explained by the organisers themselves:
- A guided tour of the Modernist complex and the interior of the Hospital de Sant Joan Baptista, the chapel, the urban vineyard and the CIM – Corral de la Vila, an 18th-century building and a unique example of popular architecture in our region, which houses the museum exhibits of the Centre d’Interpretació de la Malvasia de Sitges.
- Demonstration and explanation of fishing techniques by the Confraria de Pescadors de Sitges (Sitges Fishermen’s Guild).
Show cooking and a seafood meal paired with Malvasia wines from the Celler de l’Hospital (the Hospital’s Winery).
