Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç

Perfect fusion of sport, gastronomy and culture

There are beautiful marinas. Some are large, others small. Historical. Lively or peaceful. Famous or discreet. And then there is Port de Sitges - Aiguadolç, with a truly unbeatable distinction: it is located right within the urban area, very close to Platja de Balmins and less than a ten-minute walk from the old town. This closeness to the heart of Sitges also explains its character: a vibrant marina filled with terraces, restaurants and corners where the sea can be enjoyed through gastronomy. Here, the Mediterranean is not only admired from the harbour — it is also tasted, in a lively atmosphere that stretches from day into night, where nautical activities, gastronomy and culture come together to create a truly five-star marina experience.

A benchmark Mediterranean marina

Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç  is one of the finest marinas in the Mediterranean. With 471 moorings of up to 32 m in length, it offers a complete range of first-class services. It also offers a wide and varied range of nautical activities that allow visitors to experience Sitges from the sea. The marina also hosts prestigious regattas and sailing events, such as the presentation of the 37th America’s Cup and the Sitges Vela Clàssica regatta, alongside other competitions organised by the Club Nàutic Port de Sitges. It is also home to Spain’s first adapted sailing school.

Connection with Sitges

That said, the energy and essence that define this marina come above all from its direct connection with Sitges itself. As proximity creates affection, the closeness of Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç to the urban heart of the town has given it an open, lively and welcoming personality. If you go to the Port, you’re sure to have a great time.

One of the finest gastronomic destinations in Sitges

At Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç you will find some of the leading restaurants in Sitges and the surrounding area. The marina is home to 15 restaurants offering Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, French and signature cuisine, as well as other establishments where you can enjoy breakfasts, aperitifs, cocktails and tardeos (late-afternoon social drinks) throughout the year.

Home of the Confraria de Pescadors de Sitges (Sitges Fishermen’s Guild)

And behind the restaurants not overlooking the sea, you will discover the narrow whitewashed streets of the fishermen’s quarter — the only one of its kind located within a marina anywhere along the Catalan coast, inspired by the villages of the French Riviera.  And speaking of fishermen, it is worth remembering that Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç is also home to the Confraria de Pescadors de Sitges (Sitges Fishermen’s Guild), the second oldest in Spain, where visitors can discover first-hand the traditional artisanal fishing practices that are still alive in the town today.
